The Bureau of Engineering provides CAD standards and resources to assist customers with plan/drawing preparation. This was done with the intent of:

• Promoting efficiency in BOE’s review and approval
• Assisting construction teams in locating critical information on plans
• Adhering to standards as it pertains to line weight, line types, lettering, and how to show dimensions
• Clarifying notes, details, additional pages, and other references
