The Bureau of Engineering provides CAD standards and resources to assist customers with plan/drawing preparation. This was done with the intent of:
- Promoting efficiency in BOE’s review and approval
- Assisting construction teams in locating critical information on plans
- Adhering to standards as it pertains to line weight, line types, lettering, and how to show dimensions
- Clarifying notes, details, additional pages, and other references
