SPECIAL CONDITIONS LIST
- IF CURB AND GUTTER IS DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION, REPLACE CURB AND GUTTER PER LATEST VERSION OF S-410 FROM JOINT TO JOINT.
- IF ALLEY INTERSECTION IS DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION, REPLACE ENTIRE ALLEY INTERSECTION PER LATEST VERSION OF S-420.
- CONCRETE STREET IS OVERLAID WITH AC PAVEMENT. THE NEW PAVEMENT SECTION SHALL MATCH EXISTING SECTION BEING REMOVED.
TRAFFIC CONTROL CONDITIONS
- IMPLEMENT TRAFFIC CONTROL SET UP PER DOT APPROVED PLAN
- STREET ACCESS: MAINTAIN LOCAL AND EMERGENCY ACCESS ON ALL STREETS.
- MAINTAIN ACCESS TO ALL DRIVEWAYS, SIDEWALKS, AND CROSSWALKS AT ALL TIMES.
SPECIAL PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
Trench backfill and a/c pavement resurfacing shall follow thelatest version of la city std plan s-477-2. One sack slurry within street. 1.5sack slurry or one sack slurry with in-kind compacted base material in concretestreets/sidewalk. Native soil backfill in landscape and dirt.
Damaged concrete is to be restored in kind to the nearest builtscoreline. Affected landscaping is to be restored in kind. Contractor shall beresponsible for the protection of public and private property adjacent to thework and shall exercise due caution to avoid damage to such property.
Whenever a sidewalk or curb is removed and replaced toaccommodate a utility installation, any and all survey monuments must bepreserved or replaced by the utility or their contractor. The contractor shallrepair or replace “in-kind” all existing improvements within the right-of-waywhich are not designated for removal (e.g., curbs, sidewalks, driveways,fences, walls, signs, installations, pavements, structures, etc.) Which aredamaged or removed as a result of its operations.
The contractor shall coordinate with the property owners for anaccess plan to the satisfaction of the inspector.
Due to multiple projects in that area, coordination is required. Please seeattached public way reservation system (PWRS).
